  • Cookies: You can adhere the edible images to cookies using various methods. Apply a thin layer of edible glue, regular icing, or a corn syrup mixture to the back of the frosting sheet before pressing it firmly onto the cookie. This ensures a secure bond and a beautiful finish.
  • Fondant: For fondant applications, use a brush to apply water where the image will be placed. Be cautious to keep water away from the areas outside the image to prevent unsightly marks.

How to Print on Icinginks Sugar Sheets

Loading: Insert the frosting sheet into your printer with the frosting side facing you and the plastic backing still on. For best results, feed the sheets through the top or rear tray while ensuring they lay flat to avoid jams.

Printing: Utilize your Icinginks edible ink printer to print your desired images. Allow the printed sheet to dry for 3-5 minutes before handling for optimal results.

How to Apply Edible Images

  1. Preparation: Keep the plastic backing on until after printing. To remove the image from the backing, hold the corners (image facing up) and gently roll it across the edge of a tabletop, working from all sides toward the center.
  2. Adhering: Ensure the surface is moist. If it has dried, lightly mist it with water before applying the frosting sheet to help it stick.
  3. Placement: With clean, dry hands, carefully position the edible image on your treat, starting from the center and smoothing outwards to eliminate any air bubbles.
  4. Setting: Allow the frosting sheet to set for 20-30 minutes for optimal adhesion, allowing it to become part of your creation.

Important Tips:

  • Plastic Backing: Never remove the plastic backing before printing to avoid damage and misprints.
  • Water Contact: Keep water away from the frosting sheet before and after application to prevent bleeding or melting.

    • Use a hairdryer on the reverse side for 30-40 seconds.
