Cakes can be decorated quickly and easily with edible frosting sheets. These decorations are simple to use and add a wow factor to a cake with little effort. Pre-designed pictures, for example, characters, birthday messages, etc., can be purchased to suit any celebration theme. Here are some tips for using Edible Frosting sheets


Apply the picture on the cake before the icing has formed an outside layer. Icing that has crusted should be lightly sprayed with water before applying the edible image.

A thin layer of funneling gel should be applied to the back of the picture sheet if the cake is covered in moving fondant.

Remove the icing sheet from the package, once you are ready to print edible image.

Use the icing sheet on the cake within 15 minutes for best results in order to minimize the occurrence of air dampness.

The cake should be prepared and iced. You can remove the picture by pulling it downwards across a sharp edge. Take the picture off the backing paper with both hands.

Place the edible side of the picture on top of the cake. Be sure to position the picture exactly where you'd like it on the cake. The picture cannot be removed from the icing once it is set.

You can follow the edges of the picture to the icing by using your fingers.
